Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy live-in (preferred) housekeeper to care for and maintain a private residence located in Malibu, CA, specifically Point Dume.
This position provides a flexible schedule and an private on-site studio with a kitchenette and bathroom.
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent organizational skills, and respect the privacy and confidentiality of the household.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to;**
- Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and common spaces

- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and polishing surfaces

- Changing linens, making beds, doing laundry, and ironing

- Organizing closets, cabinets, pantries, and household areas

- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and household

- Monitoring and replenishing household cleaning supplies

- Caring properly for delicate furniture, surfaces, fabrics, and valuables

- Running occasional errands, such as grocery shopping or dry cleaning

- Driving members of the house to appointments or errands.

- Preparing simple meals or assisting with meal preparation, if needed

- Reporting maintenance issues or necessary repairs

- Completing other reasonable household duties as agreed upon

**Qualifications:**

- Previous professional housekeeping or private-home experience preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Dependable, discreet, and respectful

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Knowledge of safe and effective cleaning methods

- Good communication skills, must be able to speak English to communicate with members of the household.

- Ability to perform the physical duties required for housekeeping

- Valid driver's license and insurance required.

- Must be able to successfully complete form I-9 and pass background screening.

Private live-in accommodations will be provided.
Working hours, days off, and household expectations will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
